Thoughts of Olympia Snow's retirement

Senator Snow said she is leaving because the Senate is dysfunctional. I would argue the entire government is dysfunctional. Why? What matters is the truth here. With 49% of the populace not paying any tax and a government hell bent on destroying our way of life, I am reminded of Evita Peron. and that leads me to this...Im not sure who wrote this, but you can find in many places.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage."

Im ready to protect and defend the Constitution, even when the threat to that Constitution are the duly elected leaders who are robbing the Largesse to ensure their lifestyle and that of 49% who pay nothing to live in this great country.

Senator Snow, thanks for leaving. I wish 99 others would follow you in the Senate, then all the house and especially those in the Executive branch. Lets have a national election to replace everyone. 1 year terms.

I know that won't work.
This isn't working either.
